Shogun Steak House in El Paso

Very nice and Family oriented spot. A bit pricey but worth it! Just wish the Beer, Wine and Sake selection was broader. The food is good, My Friend and I sat at the Teppan Table this time and it was great. The Shrimp still had fresh shrimp which indicates it was undercooked and the Veggies and Fried Rice were a little on the salty side because too much Soy Sauce, but overall it was a good experience. The Sushi is one of the best in the City, again very pricey though. I was in this spot in July 2014 when I was on TDY assignment a Friend in our group knew this place and suggested it. I'm glad I was able to find it again. Good Service and food; one of the best spots in town!

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The chef came over and gaving me his pointers on get just the right mixture of wasabi and soy sauce. The salmon sashimi and ikura were the best!

I am so confused on some of the reviews on here. This place is absolutely amazing! I have been coming here for over a year now and this is definitely some high quality sushi and some of the best I have ever had in my life. For those that complained about price, of course it will cost a little more for such high quality sushi. Very impressed by the quality of the fish and the staff is super friendly and amazing. Mr. Lee has been making sushi for over 35 years and I take my co-workers here every time I am in town!

disappointed!!! I was part of 11 red hat ladies. four of us sat at the other tablewere separated from the group to have food prepared and served later. at our table the orders were one serving of chicken to be divided between 2 people. next order for beef by other two but when served half of our beef was served to other two with their chicken. disappointment was so great that your place gets a bad ra in general and I will not tell others to go to your place

Over priced, zero cleanliness, dead cockroaches all over the dining area. No customer service and the owner treats her employees so awful. She was very rude and disrespectful. They are understaffed and took more than an hour and a half to take our order and even more to bring the drinks.

Waiting was over an hour. A bottle of soju cost you 20 dollars and it just fel like a shady little place. Food is delicious but for the quality of the service and the waiting time $180 dollars was too much

The chef was amazing made it very entertaining for my son. The problem here is the price. Omg Really Really Really expensive thought I should of gone to a red carpet resturaunt with Vallet parking. Good food but time for menu update and price drop my meal should not pay the lease for the month

I absolutely fell inlove with the sushi. I felt right at home, welcomed, and was taught a free things I didn't know came in handy.

I wanted to like my experience at this restaurant, I like supporting local restaurants, but sadly it was very disappointing. The sushi is very over priced for 5-6 pieces of sushi. Also I just checked my banking statement and they double charged me for the tip that I left the server. They add an 18% gratuity for parties of 5 or more but on the check they put the pre tax amount as the total. Beware, they do not put on the receipt the gratuity they add so all of us put an additional tip on the receipt and were charged twice.

Friendly staff who asked us to sit even when it was 9:56 and they should be closed. They offered us to-go or stay, we opt to-go because we didn't just want to sit there being waited on yourselves. Waiting to taste the food. Will update. The sushi chef seems very know his stuff. I Edit: Sushi was delicious. I had the Popular roll and a California roll, my husband had the Philadelphia roll also the cali roll. Both very good. Would recommend to anyone in town.

Always great and fun place to go

Roach at least 4 inches in length found in women's bathroom, that right there made me not hungry. Then on top of that, they took forever to even make our food. They sat us down and took our order but then took an hour just to get the chef to our table to make our food. Then the food wasn't even that great and the sushi tasted old. We were so disappointed that we wasted all that money. We will never be back.

My family and I visit here several times a month. You have to try the Salmon Special. Mr Kim puts lemon on the top which gives it a refreshing flavor. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Great food! Great fun sitting around the grill while the chef cooked and joked and got the kids involved. Not inexpensive. $30 -$50 per person but worth it, I think, for the occasion.

Food is good! They will not sleep incomplete parties. They do have a lunch special which serves slightly smaller portions than the dinner menu. If you going during peak hours you will have to wait. Tables are community tables that hold 8 people. You may be seated with another party.

If you sit at one of big grills you get a pretty dope show, unfortunately I dont remember how the food was, so I gave it three stars. Sorry to the owners but I'll let other people decide if it was worth remembering.
